TISS 2020 exam analysis

Hi folks!

I am Gajendra, faculty at Bfactory Ranchi. I took the TISSNET exam today. Will share my first cut expert analysis on the exam.

The exam had two sections – first general 100 minutes paper with 100 marks. The second was a MAT exam for 30 minutes.

Exam 1:

GK: Level – Moderate to difficult

Total questions :-40

Current Affair:-10 -12

Static GK:-20-22

Others:-5-6

Good score :- 22-25

QA: Level – Easy to moderate

Total questions:-30

Arithmetic:-3-4

Geometry and mensuration:-5-6

Algebra:-3-4

Higher maths:-5-6

DI:-7

Good score:28-29

English: Level – Easy to moderate

Total questions:-30

Grammar:-7 to 8

Vocabulary:-  7 to 8

Para jumbles:-2

RC:-9

Good score:-25 -26

Overall Level of difficulty:-Moderate

Expected cut-off:- 70 to 74

Exam 2: The aptitude part was pretty doable for students who might have prepared for CAT-XAT exams. Business awareness part was on the trickier side. Overall, a score around 25 would be good enough.
